On 1 July 2024 the Indian Penal Code, the Code of Criminal Procedure and the Indian Evidence Act were replaced. Section numbers did not carry across, so a citation that was correct for a century now points somewhere else.

These indexes list every section of the three repealed acts against its equivalent in the new law. Each entry opens a page with the mapping, what actually changed, and a sentence written the way it would appear in a pleading.
